Read or quote the memory verse.
This means that God is perfect in every way. He is totally pure and there is no evil in Him.
Greeks believed in gods that were not perfect and clean.
Here is just one example:

Aphrodite was said to be the goddess of love and beauty. She took great pride in her beauty and became very jealous of anyone who threatened her title of "the most beautiful of all." One day she learned of a mortal woman whose beauty had captured the hearts of many men. They thought she was more beautiful than even Aphrodite.
Aphrodite lost no time seeking revenge. She chased away all the men who wanted to be the woman's husband and then instructed her son, Cupid, to shoot her with one of his arrows of love so that she would fall in love with a wild beast. Aphrodite hoped that when the young woman tried to get near the beast, it would attack her and kill her.
The plan backfired, however, because although Cupid was a god himself, he could be a bit clumsy. He nicked himself with his own arrow and fell in love with the woman his mother wanted dead. Poor Cupid.
How did Aphrodite and Cupid show they were imperfect and far from "good"? (They were mean, revengeful, not perfectly in control. They couldn't even make their own plan work right. Aphrodite was afraid of someone being more beautiful than she was. God is perfect; He doesn't have to make others look bad so that He'll look good!)
Let's Read Exodus 15:11 and see what the Bible has to say:
There isn't anyone who is like God because no one is perfect! The fact that God is Holy (Perfect, Clean and without evil) ensures that every attribute of God is Perfect, Clean, and without evil.
Let's imagine how different God would be if He were not Perfect, Clean, and Holy. What difference would that make on His Power and Love?
Look at the following attributes:
If God is not Perfect, then God might not be perfectly strong. Someone might come along who's stronger. If God is not Totally Clean, then He might decide to use His strength for evil rather than good, (like Aphrodite tried to use her power to keep men from marrying the girl that made her jealous)
If God is not Perfect, Clean, and Holy, then God's love can't be perfect either. You won't be able to count on His love for you or for others. God might become jealous of you the way Aphrodite became jealous. She may have been called the goddess of love, but do you want her kind of love?
You see, if God is not Perfect, Clean, and Holy, then God is nothing more than a story book god, fake and powerless.
Aren't you glad His love and power are perfect and clean and not like Aphrodite or Cupid!
Why does it matter?Because God is Perfect, Clean, and Holy, you can be sure that He has no evil in Him. God's perfect character sets Him apart from every other living being and makes Him the One True God who deserves our worship.
